Garcia's Construction is a family business in the plainest sense of the word. Alex Garcia owns it and works it, and his daughter Thelma runs the business operations, answering the emails, handling the quote requests that come through this site, and keeping projects communicating clearly with homeowners. When you call the number on this page, you are not reaching a call center or a franchise. You are reaching the family whose name is on the work.

The trade list is long on purpose. Kitchens, granite, wood floors, tile, sheetrock, trim, roofing, framing, interior and exterior painting, windows, siding, fences, patios, electrical and plumbing: these are the trades a real house actually needs, usually several at a time. A kitchen remodel is granite plus cabinets plus electrical plus plumbing plus sheetrock plus paint. A roof leak is shingles plus decking plus insulation plus ceiling texture. Companies that do one trade hand you off at every seam. We built the trade list so the project never has to leave the family.

How we work

Every project starts with a free, written quote after we have actually seen the space, because numbers invented over the phone always change and we would rather be straight with you from the start. The quote is itemized so you can see what each part of the scope costs and trim it to fit your budget. During the work, the site gets protected and cleaned up, you get told ahead of time when water or power will be off, and the project ends with a walkthrough where you, not we, decide it is finished.

We serve the west side of the Houston metro: Katy, Cinco Ranch, Fulshear, Richmond, Brookshire, Cypress and the US-290 corridor, the neighborhoods along Highway 99, and West Houston in toward the Energy Corridor and Memorial. English and Spanish both spoken, on the phone and on the job.
